Ristorante da Giovannino makes a comeback in its historic site in the veranda on the lakeside in Malgrate

Since mid November, our Ristorante da Giovannino, the historic restaurant in Malgrate, has moved to its original site in the veranda located along the lakeside.
Our guests will therefore be able to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake, of Lecco and of the mountains that overlook it, and taste the dishes created by chef Alessio Limonta, who proposes a creative cuisine based on the use of typical high-quality products from the local area and Italy.
The gourmet pizzas are new entries in the menu: a selection of pizzas by Salvatore Pisano made with high-quality products, our own sourdough starter, Caputo flour from Naples and with a 24 hour leavening and 48 hour aging, which produces a light and highly digestible product, enriched with the highest quality ingredients: the nocerino d.o.p peeled tomatoes from the Agro Sarnese, hand worked fior di latte mozzarella, Marco d’Oggiono’s cold cuts and the Invernizzi Taleggio and Rota di Pasturo in Valsassina, as well as the prized Mazara del Vallo shrimp.
The restaurant can be reached in 5 minutes from the Casa sull’Albero, crossing the charming old town of Malgrate.
