Ristorante Da Giovannino and Casa sull’Albero are featured in the second leg of “Chef in tour” with the hospitality school in Casargo
Ristorante da Giovannino has hosted the second leg of the Chef in Tour journey, the video format that sees students from the Centro di Formazione Professionale Alberghiero in Casargo travel to discover local flavors and Lombard hospitality excellences.
In the kitchen of the Ristorante da Giovannino, which since mid November has moved to the historic location in the veranda on the lakeside, the students of the CFPA Casargo cooked a guinea fowl stuffed with chestnuts and sausage that had been slow-cooked in a coffee reduction. All under the supervision of the young chef of the restaurant, Alessio Limonta, a former student of the CFPA, who offers a creative and innovative cuisine. The special recipe, that fits perfectly in with the cuisine offered at the Ristorante da Giovannino, was tasted and appreciated by the president of the CFPA Casargo, Marco Galbiati, and by director Marco Cimino, together with Fabio Dadati, owner of the restaurant and of Casa sull’Albero.
After the filming, the crew moved to the Casa sull’Albero, the design-focused boutique hotel which is only five minutes away from the restaurant, to relax in the splendid secular park, warmed by the beautiful autumnal colors.
The Chef in Tour format, created by Xenia Hospitality Makeover, the Tramite Srl unit specialized in promoting the hôtellerie world, was put together to promote the Lombard hospitality excellences, and to allow the CFPA Casargo students to live a one-of-a-kind learning experience. The final output will be a video show on air on a national media outlet which will provide all involved with an opportunity for great visibility.
